IN New Zealand this is traced from George Cooper 1793-1867; he was the 1st Treasurer to the new colony under Govenor Hobson. Back from there via George 1752, Joseph 1704, Austin 1653 to Austin c1620. This whole search has been very complicated as I was originally pointed toward George Ashley Cooper.<br />It has been an inertesting trip.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05136477100132805985noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6213214691888541544.post-76313431057150918742020-03-09T20:11:49.479+00:002020-03-09T20:11:49.479+00:00Whttp://www.thepeerage.com/p37412.htm#i374116 We ...Whttp://www.thepeerage.com/p37412.htm#i374116 We share ancestors...Did you manage to go earlier back in the Cooper ancestry? curiously we share some other ancestors, as Pilkington, Manners, Hamilton, (through Claud, his mother Margaret Douglas) as history after all is a small place another of my ancestor's is related to Hampton Court's history, Phillips this time through his relation with Lord Cecil.kultannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18004217582064258552noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6213214691888541544.post-14659544813298250032016-11-04T22:21:05.013+00:002016-11-04T22:21:05.013+00:00Austin the Settler had a daughter Mary who married...Austin the Settler had a daughter Mary who married a Cairncross and had two sons. Do you know anymore? Cairncross is an extremely rare name in Ireland and I think came from Archishop Cairncross of Glasgow who was demoted to an Irish post in 1693Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
